We had the most amazing time in Saint Lucia; we loved every single moment of it. From the second we arrived, there was just something about the island that felt different. It’s not your typical Caribbean destination; it’s greener, more dramatic, and full of those little moments that make you stop and take it all in.
Seeing the Pitons in real life was one of those moments. They’re absolutely breathtaking; no photo quite does them justice. Whether we were catching a glimpse of them from the beach or sitting with a drink watching the light change over the water, they made every day feel that bit more special.

We spent time around Soufrière, which quickly became one of our favourite spots. It has such a relaxed, authentic feel to it, the kind of place where you can slow down properly and just enjoy being there.
One of the highlights was visiting the Sulphur Springs, such a unique experience (and yes, we did the mud baths!). We also wandered through Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens, which felt like stepping into another world with its waterfalls and lush greenery. It’s the kind of place where you lose track of time in the best possible way.

The beaches in Saint Lucia are all so different, which we loved. Sugar Beach was just stunning, set right between the Pitons, while Anse Chastanet had some of the best snorkelling we’ve ever done.
And then there’s Marigot Bay, calm, beautiful, and exactly the kind of place where you find yourself sitting for hours without even realising it. Sunset, a drink in hand, nowhere else to be… those are the moments we’ll remember most.

The food was another highlight, fresh, full of flavour, and always best enjoyed slowly. We tried local dishes, plenty of seafood, and more than a few rum cocktails along the way. Everything just felt relaxed and unhurried, which made it even better.

Saint Lucia is one of those places that stays with you. It’s not just about how beautiful it is, it’s how it makes you feel while you’re there. Relaxed, happy, completely switched off from everything else.
We honestly loved every moment, and it’s already on the list of places we’d go back to in a heartbeat.
